I’m John—father, kitesurfer, and founder of KiteMates. What started as a graduation gift for my daughter turned into something much bigger: an unforgettable journey where parents and their young adult kids learn, connect, and grow—side by side.

KiteMates is a modern rite of passage: a week-long liveaboard kitesurfing adventure on the Red Sea. It’s not about hazy party holidays—it’s about real connection, shared challenge, and lasting memories.
